| Re: Ingrown toe nail
When I get ingrown toe nails, I would cut a V shape at the very top of the nail. This pulls the nail away from the sides of your toe when the V grows in. Of course if your ingrown nail is really bad then you will need to have a doctor take care of it. Make sure you put hydrogen proxide on it to keep the risk of infection down. And lastly, to help prevent further ingrown nails, cut your toe nails straight across and don't round them. This will prevent them from growing into your toe on the corners of the nail.
