my first thougts were i got that because antibiotics killed all the good bacteria in my body and allowed thrush to grow on the tongue.
about the same time i started using the new whitening listerine. im thinking it might be making the thrush grow faster. if i wash my mouth and brush my teeth in the morning i still can feel this weird after-taste of listeringe. is this true???? |
You have a yeast infection in your mouth caused by antibiotics that have killed the bacteria that normally eat yeast (possibly also in your guts as well). Listerine is making things worse by continuing to kill the bacteria and feeding the yeast sugar. Stop using listerine.
Go to a health food store and get some bacteria pills that contain at least two different kinds of bacteria. Second, stop eating ALL sugar for at least 2 weeks because yeast grows on sugar. Repeat after every dose of antibiotics you take.
