What Do You Think if I took Fish Oil for a long time? Please Read.... - General Health Message Board

I'm 17 years old.... I pitch in baseball.... During the baseball season I was taking fish oil for tendonitis and during that time I noticed my skin and complexion to really improve and look a lot clearer. I have done some reading on the internet and i'm thinking of taking fish oil on a regular basis. What do you think of this? I'm also thinking of taking a b50 complex for b vitamins which are also good for the mind and the skin. Then maybe taking 400IU of vitamin E and also take some vitamin C also. Will that benefit my health and everything or could taking these hurt me in the long run?

What if I took Fish Oil for a long time for now on? Would it hurt me? What benefits do you think it may have for my skin and for my general health?

I've never really taken a vitamin b complex but as far as Fish Oil it really is great for my skin and I feel a lot better during the day....

I really think Fish Oil is amazing to say the least so far.... Thanks For Your Time....

I've taken fish oil for 3 years and have noticed a definate improvement in skin.

Anytime you add a vitamin or supplement you should talk to a doctor or pharmacist

there are ppl who believe fish oil is bad due to high levels of contaminants such as mercury

one of them is my nutrition prof

u can try flaxseed oil and sunflowerseed oil to get ur omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids

I started taking fish oil in HS. I heard somewhere (can't remember where) that it was good for acne.

It was AWESOME for acne!

I still take it, and I've been out of HS for a gazillion years. I continue to take it because I think it makes my skin look better - even though I no longer suffer from acne.
