| Re: mourning after pill question
How many days is your cycle? You ovulate 14 days before the first day of your period. The classic cycle is 28 days, therefore, ovulation is exactly in the middle. If your cycle is 26 days you will ovulate 12 days after the first day of your period. Remember, that sperm can stay alive in your reproductive tract for up to 3 days. For you to get pregnant on the second day of your period, your cycle would be 16 days long. Taking into consideration that the sperm could stay alive, you would worry at this point if your cycle was 19 days long.
