Weird bump next to my belly button, 1 yr after surgery... - General Health Message Board

Hello, I am 27 years old and I had intestinal surgery a year ago and now I have this weird bulge or bump on the insicion scar. I have a little just a small amount of discomfort when I sneeze laugh or cough. I'm a little worried if this might be dangerous or if it has something to do with my past surgery. Does anyone know if it could be a possible hernia? Thank you for the read and the response.

I think it's quite possible it could be a hernia. It could be scar tissue, but my guess is hernia since you have some discomfort. I would have your doctor check it out. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. I don't feel a hard bump, it's quite soft if you press it. Could that still be a hernia?
