Re: Blood under big toenails
Well, I have have blood under my toenails on several occasions. It actually turns kind of purple in color. But I knew I had something happen; once I dropped a brick on my foot wearing sandals, another time it happened due to not having comfortable shoes when running. I always knew it was blood though and my toes would hurt like crazy the first few days afterwards. If it is dried blood, there's not much to do but wait it out. You just have to wait for the nail to grow out. On my big toe, this took 4-5 months. Sometimes the dried blood would make the nail fall off or become partially lose (but another nail grows under the old one if it falls off). Maybe someone has more ideas for you?
