Food poisoning and loss of appetite, for 2 months - General Health Message Board

Two months ago..actually a little longer...I got food poisoning from eating a submarine sandwich at the popular sub place. For a couple days I had the usual symptoms and then for a few more I just felt weak but ever since then I don't want to eat anything except for something like soup. All my normal favorite foods just turn my stomach and especially anything "sandwichy"...yuck!!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this normal?

This is not normal, Doesn't sound like food poisoning to me. Is it a mental thing that makes you not like sandwichy?

Well I know that anything "sandwichy" reminds me of the turkey sub so that's probably mental but nothing seems tasty to me. No even grilled steak or anything? I'm hungry but I'll fix something and by the time I get it prepared, it's grossing me out! But I definately had food poisoning from the submarine sandwich...about an hour after I ate it I started getting nauseated and then a few hours later vomited and then diarrhea...then vomited later that evening and diarrhea continued for a couple days.

you could have got infected from it, but still having problems two months later is not normal, Maybe a doc could help you out.
