Not really a health problem but I need to get my teeth done for modeling.

Hey guys.
I've been told yesterday that I have a great shot of being a model but my only problem are my teeth and I will never make it unless I fix them.
I really want to make it in the world of modeling, really reaaaaaaaly bad.
My teeth have been my problem from th young days.
Everything was always good but the teeth and right now I'm sick of that. I already developed an inferiority complex because of them or something like that so it's not just the appearance but a physchological problem as well.

Anyway, what can I do to fix them? They just said "get your teeth done"..
I don't understand that. I had braces four 4 years but it didn't help much since my teeth are big and braces can't really help you there.
However braces did help and my teeth did get better but since I've lost my retainer they're slowly but surely going back to where they were.
My doc told me to only wear a retainer for like 6 months, I wore it for a year and half then lost it but they're still getting back to the position they were into before the braces.

So what can I really do?? I'm ready to do anything because I want this modeling job so bad.
It's something that I really want to do and I can make nice money by doing something that's my passion.

Help me, what do I do?

I know that my mom doesn't have her real teeth. I was only like 7 but I do remember that she was teethless for a few days and then she got her new teeth that look beautiful now.
Can I do the same?
I know it sucks because those are my real teeth but sometimes you just need to sacrafice to do the things you like.
Can new teeth help me or or is there no chance of me ever becoming a model?
Thank you.

Re: Not really a health problem but I need to get my teeth done for modeling.

If an instanct fix is what you want then you can compromise your real teeth with spending a fortune on such things as veneers. They grind/shape your teeth to be fitted with false fronts. You need to research this, I think their are draw backs and future maintenance work may be necessary.

If you talk to an orthodontist (and perhaps you may need more than one opinion) you could possibly get your teeth realigned with retainers, but that takes time. Not all orthodontists tell their patients that they probably will have to wear their retainers the rest of their life.
