| Re: Spider veins
Hormonal changes, pregnancy, and menopause. Taking birth control pills and other medicines containing estrogen and progesterone also increase the risk of varicose or spider veins on the body. Obesity, leg injury, prolonged standing and other things that weaken vein valves cause spider veins too.
The ones on the face are mostly from the sun.
Laser surgery can remove them. As for any other treatment I really don't know. I never heard or know of anyone that was able to get the creams and pills to work.
