Mono Contiunation

Just out of curiosity, how would one know if their liver and/or spleen were enlarged if stricken with mono? Would it be visible and/or painful? If your liver enlarges with mono do you know by pain and the occurrence of jaundice? Just out of curiosity for the future not even for mono just if mine or anyone's whom I know liver enlarges, because I have an Uncle who is a recovered alcholic and fears liver failure narotically. I am also just trying to confirm that I may have a slight case of hypochondriatis

Re: Mono Contiunation

When both of my boys had mono, they had blood work done, this was also confirmed by physical palpitation of the spleen..which was enlarged and very tender..no physical sports for 6 months. There was no outward physical sign. Neither one of them had jaundice with it either.
