Help with Trigger Point therapy in trapezius
I am doing self-therapy to manage by back/neck pain by focusing on 4-5 trigger points in my upper back. My question is for someone who has found success with this approach.
How long does it take to make a trigger point stop hurting? I have been doing it for 4-5 days and seem to find some improvement in the referred pain subsiding, but the trigger points still hurt. They are also hard to focus on with a lacrosse ball or theracane. I find the ball works better, but was just looking to see if anyone had tips or advice.
