Re: Gritty Crackling Sound When I turn My head
The cracking sound in your neck is probably caused by gas bubbles being released from the joints. The joints contain oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide gasses and which when you hear cracking it could be the result of the joint capsule being rapidly stretched, causes the formation and release of gas bubbles. I use to get that a lot. It's not a big deal, If that's what is causing it. Then again it may be arthritis in the joint but that's usually associated with pain.
