Fell asleep in wrong position, chest seems a bit sprained?

i feel asleep today in a couch wiith some pillows.
Anyhow, 1hour later i wake up.. and i'm all feeling like sprained in the chest. Im male 27. Does this kind of accidental injury damage me alot? or is it just temporary? I mean, i'm getting better but still , it's not nice.

another time i fell asleep even in my bed...and when i woke up my whole back was sprained . i dn't know how that happens.

Re: Fell asleep in wrong position, chest seems a bit sprained?

It didn't do any damage. All you did was kink up your muscles a little bit. You didn't strain or sprain them. You just slept on them wrong. After you move around a bit they will stretch out and you will be just fine. You just got a little stiff from sleeping in the wrong position.

A sprain occurs when a muscle is torn..not when you sleep on it wrong. A strain is when you overstretch a muscle.
