| Re: What makes you disabled or not disabled? You are not diabled just because certain parts of your bady hurt. If that were the case, then I would be diasabled because I have two 15" titanium rods and 20 screws in my back and I cannot bend over any more nor do I turn or bend like I use to. I live with constanct pain every day, as do many folks.
Just because you have parts that don't work as well as they should, that does not classify you as disabled. It may limit how you do things, but it is not stopping your life.
To be disabled you need to prove that you have an imparement that severly restricts you from doing activities that are of central importance to every day life...like cooking, cleaning, dressing yourself. From what you wrote I would assume that you can dress yourself, cook for yourself, care for yourself.
