Anyone ever heard of someone being burned while being administered an MRI? I had an MRI done yesterday for degenerative disc disease and while they doing the c-spine, my eyes starting burning and I felt like I was being stuck with pins on my eyelids. I handle pain rather well so I didn't stop the technician. But when he was through, I told him about my eyes. He was very upset. After wondering what the heck happened, it occurred to me that I have had permanent eye liner tattoed on my eyes several years ago.
He told me that was the cause due to the black ink used in tattoo's but it shouldn't have happened to me since I had it done long ago. It's rare but it does happen. I woke up this morning with the puffiest eyes ever and thin red burn lines on my upper eyelids. I was wondering if this can cause damage to your eyesight? I've researched the internet and didn't find out to much. My vision is fine just eyes look like I have a bad hangover
Any input would be appreciated. Thx all, Linda
