I have been having HORRIBLE pains in my left side for months now, so I figured I had kidney stones since I have a history of them. Well I went to the ER and they ran test, no stones, went to a specialist had a IVP done, No stones, so finally the ER did a Blood test. My blood count levels are WAY WAY too low, and I have too much protein in my urine and there was blood in it also. I kept asking what it meant and no one seemed to have an answer for me. Now I have to wait until the 30th when I go back to see the specialist to find out anything, does ANYONE know what having low blood counts mean and having too much protein in your urine? I am so confused and nervous right now, please please help!!!
Do you have a copy of your blood tests? It would help to let everyone know the actual counts and what was low. For instance low WBC with differentail values may indicate infection or low RBC and HCT may indicate anemia. Hopefully you can post back and receive some answers. Take care.

Low WBC isn't showing infection. It is when the WBC are elevated that it is an infection. It could be anemia. Good luck.
generally, when you see protien in urine it is in relation to some level of actual kidney damage or disease.there could be other reasons as well, like very strenuous excerciseing or other things that can bring it on,but given your other lab ratios,it is something to consider.you should really have those labs repeated and followed up with an ultrasound done on the kidneys(espescially that left one).what exact labs were out of range?this is just one possibility.FB

Thank you everyone for all the help you have given me so far. I am going to call the hospital right now and get a copy of the results so that I can look at them better. I will post as soon as I know more, but if anyone else has any advice please let me know!!
I have the results... micro-rbc was 2, micro-wbc was 1, squamous epi was 5 and t here was mucus in there. SP Gravity was 1.031 H, Prot ein was 20 (a) H, Ketones there was a trace H...so thats was that for the urine. On my blood work my TSH was 10.47 H..and I don't have a clue what that means...please help me if you can!!!
I don't know anything about your urine results, but your TSH shows that you're definitely hypothyroid. Good news: it's treatable. You now need to get the following tests run - FT4, FT3, TPOAb and TgAb. The first two tests show how your thyroid is working. The last two tests are for thyroid antibodies, which are a common cause of hypothyroidism. Probably should also get your cortisol and ferritin tested as well.
Please keep us posted and good luck with all this.
