Help put my mind at ease please... - General Health Message Board

Earlier today I found a strange bruise thing on my right arm. It has two little red spots in it. I also have a little bruise on the back of my left hand. My mother pressed on the bruise on my arm and it hurt. She then told me that leukemia bruises don't hurt, but I'm still worried, especially since I don't know what the two little red spots are. I know that I'm probably just being a paranoid hypochondriac, but if anyone could help set my mind at ease it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible that you have been bitten by a bug of some sort? I must admit that leukemia would not be the first thing I thought of if I saw these on my arm. If they don't clear up in a day or two, or if you get more, then trot them along to the Doctor for a look.

Most likely those red marks you see is blood underneath the skin and part of the bruise, I got a couple on me before they disappear within a few days.
