My doctor doesn't know what this is...

This is also posted in the Immunity thread...

I am only in my early 30's and my BMI is 20.4

I am having symptoms of:

Hot Neck

extreme dizziness

extreme fatigue and sleepiness

loss of appetite

low urine output

body stiffness

muscle weakness

vertigo

memory and speech problems

itchness on arms

constipation

edema

cramping in my legs

throat and neck is very tight

I feel I am not getting enough oxygen to my brain

When I talk now, my voice is harsh, very low, and my head hurts from pressure, as if someone is squeezing my neck and not getting enough air to my throat and brain/neck...

I tested negative for Lyme, Sjogren, Thyroid; my ANA, RF, all Ig tests are negative...

The only test that was abnormal was my C4.
The C3 was normal....

My lymphocyte is high.
TIBC is low, yet he said I am not anemic....
My BUN is low...

My doctor thinks I have vasulitis yet since my C3 is normal, he cannot give me a diagnosis. He said I have vasulitis-like symptoms. He did not say what kind of a vasulitis. He said my hands are cold for it being summer...

What do you think I have?

I barely can stand up for long periods, and cannot carry anything heavy around my neck because it causes a lack of oxygen to my brain which I never felt before.... I almost blacked out getting out of bed this morning.

The doctor said its not Addison's because I am too muscular....

Re: My doctor doesn't know what this is...

The "House" she is refering to is a TV show here in America where this doctor is great at figuring out tough medical problems. I see you are in Asia so you would not have heard of that show before.

Anyway I suggest going to another doctor and keep searching and having tests done. Maybe the doctor you are seeing can refer you to a specialist.

Re: My doctor doesn't know what this is...

i would just suggest seeing a rhuematologist type of doc.the one my ortho sent me to becasue of the extreme pain ,inflammation and huge amounts of heat my knee was generating really could have been from an inflammatory type response.he did the most comprehensive set of labs on me that i ever had in my life.i was tested for anything and everything that was possible to cause some level of inflammatory type response.these tests had to be sent to labs all over the US just because the couldn't do them here in a regular city with all the big hospitals?these were really in depth labs.four pages of solid labs.these tested for about 50 seperate types of conditions.i really do think, mostly considering the 'heat" this is generating, your best bet would be to look for something inflammatory.inflammation just generates heat in us.some conditions can create a huge amount of heat while others, nothing you can actually really feel on the outside ya know?your symptoms are just so obscure that i think seeing a rheumy doc would really benefit you in seeing what are and are not real symptoms.and getting all those labs done would really help at least to rule in or out some possibilities.i was eventually Dxed with RSD in my knee.probably not at all what you have, butthose tests ruled out alot of other options,so they were worth my time and trouble.just a thought for you.good luck with this and please keep us posted,K?
