| Re: Backbone Problem ~?
i do think just considering what was found upon x ray, obtaining an MRI of that area would really give you much more in depth info of the extent of that injury.x rays merely scratch the very surface not in depth down to the nerve and spinal cord level.it does sound from what you are describing that there is alot more in depth damage going on that just is not going to show up on any x ray.it would most likely show upon MRI tho.his primary care doc can refer him for that test.after that is done, seeing an orthosurgeon would really be a great idea, just to see how significant his injury actually is and whether or not it can be treated.an MRI should have been done as soon as the x ray revealed actual damage.they kind of dropped the ball on that one.but you can get it done now.your dad should not have to suffer thru all this pain without actually knowing why.i wish him luck and hope this is not too severe.please keep us posted on what you find out,K?
