hubby had a swelling of his lymph node under where his ear meets his jawbone on right side. saw dr and he said it was due to the ingrown hair on his cheek directly across from the swollen area. size of my fingertip i would say. ingrown hair is now starting to clear up but swelling is still there.

was not put on antibiotics.

no other symptoms.

It will go down as the ingrown hair clears up. The lymph gland was swollen because it was handling the infection of the ingrown hair. As it processes the infection out of your hubby's body,the swelling will go down. It's nothing to worry about....It should go down in a week or two.
