Exclamation 21 and still Growing????

I'm a 21 year old female and I've been noticing some things. I've grown taller, my hands and feet are bigger, my shoulders are getting broader, my voice is getting deeper. I never had leg, arm or facial hair. But, now it's starting to grow. I'm not taking any hormones or any thing. I just wanna know what is happening to my body.

Re: 21 and still Growing????

Late bloomer perhaps....did you grow much in your earlier years?

I grew a little bit more in height after I graduated high school, which I never expected, but of course I'm a guy and I think it's a little more normal for guys to do that...plus that was when I was about 18-19, not 21.

yes you can have late growth sprouts into your early 20s. I stopped growing heigth wise by 18 but my body didn't truly mature until about 20-22. If it gets worrisome though, check with a doctor about getting a hormone panel to be sure.

Re: 21 and still Growing????

When I was 10 I was 5ft. But after that I slow grow. I reached 5'7" at 16. I never expected to grow. I wanted to though. But everyone keeps telling me that I'm gonna grow anymore. When I was in high school the doctors told me that I should be 5'10 to 6ft. They said that I didn't have a growth spourt. Could this be my spourt? Am I just a late bloomer?

Re: 21 and still Growing????

You might have a thyroid problem or your hormones may be out of whack, I dunno. Have you talked to a doctor about it?

Have you noticed any sexual changes or puberty-like changes?

Re: 21 and still Growing????

Hi

Maybe it would be wise to go have some blood tests done to check your hormones. Especially if you have developed a deep voice and facial hair.

it could be anything from ovary problems or other hormone related issues.

Good luck and i hope you get it all sorted

Sharon
