Had resecton of first metatarsal pain as I fall asleep
I had bone graft surgery done on my foot. I have my foot elevated but I just get the most initense pain as soon as my body starts to fall asleep. I jump out of my sleep in pain. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Are you using a bed cradle to keep the covers off of your toe?

I am not sure what that is but I do not have the sheets over my toe. I had bone graft done on first metatarsal and a metal plate put in andI have a hard cast form my foot to my knee. The pain is pretty much controlled during the day but as soon as my body relaxes and I fall asleep I jump out of my sleep with the most worst pain in my foot. I was thinking maybe it has something to do with my nerves I am just worried and so scarred to go to sleep
