Exclamation Please Help I`m desperate

Alright. A day ago, I was running down my stairs and jumped off the last one only to land with all my weight directly on the side of my ankle. It bent pretty bad and made a disgusting and extremely loud snapping sound. I passed out once i stood up cause I felt no pain. Then, when i awoke, it was hurting alot, i could not put any weight on it, and it was swelling slightly. Well, a couple of hours later i could stand on it and i had plenty of ice and it didn`t seem to be a huge deal. The next morning i woke up with a scratchy, tickling throat, a sore head and felt like I was getting a cold. My ankle hurts to bend it certain ways, but i had it wrapped in tensor aswell as an ankle brace, and its not hurting, i can walk just not bend it all the way. It`s still a little swollen. I decided not to take myself to a doctor because it seemed very minor.
But, I now have a slight fever and Im not feeling very well at all in my abdomen, and my head and sinus cold is getting worse. I`m wondering if there could be any connection or if Its just a coincidence that I am coming down with something?

Re: Please Help I`m desperate

You may have a broken ankle. Whatever, your body went into a bit of shock (you passed out) and this has caused you to be very vulnerable. I think that the way you feel is because of this shock, which has lowered your resistance to illness in the short term. Get the ankle xrayed, you don't want permanent damage. Sera
