Toe infection,and i have a football match tomorrow evening :O

Hi,I have a toe infection which on the right hand side of my right foot,its on my big toe on the right hand side of the toe. The skin has all peeled off on the tip next to the nail.Painful to walk on after a while i dont notice it. Is there a way to numb the painess down for me to play in my match tomorrow night

Hi, sounds like you have an ingrown toe nail,the only way if it is to get it out using a thin clean blade and pry under the right tip of the nail and clip it, that's what I've always done and use peroxide,it is painful though and you need to get it all,usually you can see a portion of the nail when pryed back growing into the skin.The other choice if it is an ingrown nail is to have the doctor remove it,depending on how severe it is and which way it's growing he may have to remove a large portion of the nail and give you antibiotics for infection.I always trimmed my toenails to short and that was the cause,now I cut them in a slight v-shape
