Hey Everyone! It's been a while since I've been around. I had been dealing with chronic health problems over the last year or so, and with no definite diagnosis. Over the course of the year I was sick pretty much continuously. Infection after infection - sinus, throat, low grade fevers.. My symptoms continued and branched out - severe headaches, vision and hearing disturbances, muscle weakness, TMJ, acid reflux, IBS. I started having a strange taste in my mouth, my mouth always felt icky and dry as well. Just about every blood test was run under the sun, and everything came out pretty normal, with the exception of having pre-diabetes. Things got worse - and eventually I was hospitalized for a week because alot of the symptoms matched ill side-effects from a medication I had been on. Once I got out of the hospital, I began feeling better. And felt better (although not totally better) for a while;
I've started feeling sick again. I've developed severe headaches again, I grind my teeth alot, and the sinus infections are returning (and not responding to antibiotics). I've started having low grade fevers and recently I developed some canker-type sores on the back of my throat and on my gum/side of my cheek, and for a while now I've had white raised kind of veiny looking pattern on both of my cheeks (which I had attributed to maybe grinding my teeth and biting my cheeks, but they have not gone away) Have been to the doctor, and have been treated with antibiotics but that never gives lasting results. I know there is Oral and Vaginal Thrush. It seems as though I am always dx and treated for Vaginosis when I see the GYN every year.
So I did some web research and came upon a condition called "Thrush", I was wondering if any of you have had/do have thrush, and what your symptoms are. How one gets tested, dx, and treated?
I'm getting frustrated that I am starting to feel ill again . I don't have the energy to deal with being sick anymore, last year was enough to last a lifetime.
Thanks guys
