Spasm on right side of lower abdomen

I have spasm's on my right side of the upper abdomen. I can feel it as it starts and it feels as if something is moving and twisting. It is painful but not real bad. I like to say it's like a Charley Horse in your leg. Does that make sense? It get's better if i stretch, almost as if i have pulled the kink out. Am i crazy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
