fever while getting wisdom teeth?

Does anyone know if it is likely for a teen (18) to have a fever while "cutting" wisdom teeth so to speak. I've had a low fever 100.2 for the past three days and I feel fine, except that my gums and jaw are a little sore because my wisdom teeth are coming in. I know small children sometimes get fevers while cutting teeth so is it possible that is whats happening to me?

Thanks!

Shanna
