Unusual pain on head

I had no idea where else to post this question.

There is a spot on my scalp that if I press on it or run something over it such as a comb, it hurts; kind of like a bruise would. The spot is on the upper left part of my head just inside the hair line. When I move the hair aside to try to see if there is something visible, I can't see anything. I was kind of worried that it was a weak blood vessel or something that could cause a future problem.

I would like to know if anyone else has something like this, or if anyone could post an opinion as to what it might be. Thank you.

Re: Unusual pain on head

I've had bumps to the head over the years that feel like what you've described. Sounds to me like you bumped your head but probably don't remember it. I would say that if it continues to hurt for more than a week then it's time to see a doctor.

Just my .02 cents.
