Can my head snap from the crunches I do?

I have a lot of neck tension and have had it sense I was little, the problem is, I crunch my neck and head up together and pull it upwards alot, and I'm worried that I might accidentally snap it up like they do in those maneuvers to kill someone by pushing their neck up in the army.
