Sore throat AND multiple muscle soreness?

I have no idea if the 2 are related at all, and I do mean soreness, like I had exercised too much, not aching. Both forearms are so bad I can't type this without pain, and I can't make a fist with my left hand. My quads and calves are also sore, and I can't for the life of me think of anything I did to cause it. No working out, lifting heavy objects or anything. The sore throat seems to be accompanied by a few white spots also. Help!

Re: Sore throat AND multiple muscle soreness?

Sounds to me like either a bad virus, strep, or possibly mono. How tired are you? What kind of sore throat do you have? In other words, what does your throat feel like? Does the soreness go away when you drink water, even just briefly? Do you have a fever? If so, how high? Also, how long has all this been going on?

You might want to contact your doctor about this.
