For the past month and a half i have been experiencing a low grade fever between 99 and 99.8 and the lymph nodes in my neck and armpits are swollen. Also i have been very tired. The lymph nodes do not hurt even when i touch them. my breasts have also been tender and very painful and i have had an ultra sound done for breast cancer but that came back negative. my doctor didn't know about the lymph nodes because i just discovered them right after my ultra sound. nothing else hurts just sleepy is all. where should i go from here? and what do you think the possiblities are?

have you been checked for mono? this can cause swollen lymph nodes and a low grade fever along with extreme fatigue.

i have not been tested for that i will inquire about that but i figured that like my boyfriend would get it too if it was mono. but thanks for your opinion

Cowgirl,

Are you experiencing night sweats and/or a lot of itching?
My concern is lymphoma. You need to see a doctor and show the doctor your lymph nodes. The only way to determine if it is lymphoma is for a biopsy to be done from a lymph node.

sinuis infection can cause this. anti-bacterial treatment may help.
