Occasionally, I get severe chest pains when laying down on my side at night. The pain is in my upper left chest when I lay on my left side with my left arm bent and supporting me. The pain is almost unbearable, but if I turn over, the pain goes away completely. I get this a couple times a month. Any clue as to what may cause this and if I should see a doctor about it?
Anytime you have chest pain it could be a serious matter. It could be something little as minor heartburn, or something major like angina pectoris. I would definitely visit your Physician just to rule out any serious complications.
