Consensus on a Preventative exam-very confused

Ok, so today I go to the dr. for a physical..I had to fill out a health questionaire that was about ten pages long. She comes in, checks the skin on my back makes a comment..Then does a breast exam and pap, and is out of there! I could not believe she had spent about ten minutes with me. She didn't check my head, abdomen or anything. Which would be fine but for what they charge my insurance for this it was amazing..What is the point of filling out a survey with my concerns, etc..Is this how it is now days? Last year when I had one the dr, actually went through everything and I think checked me over...Was this wrong or is this what to expect??

No this is not a normal exam. If your insurance is paying for this I would be calling them to find out the procedure for reporting her and at least let the insurance company know they are paying a lot for nothing. And if this is a clinic I would be writing to the head of the clinic to let them know. At the very least never go to this person again! Good grief. Medical care costs too much these days to not get what we are paying for.

You should also have had routine blood work and a urinalysis. Also, temp, blood pressure, ect.
