I'm not sure why, but lately I've been getting these cramps on the back side of my left leg, right behind the knee cap. And I can't seem to get it to go away.
The cramp doesn't last all day, but for the past few days its been coming and going. I've been drinking plenty of water and stretching, but its still cramped.
Anyone know what to do to get rid of it, or what might be causing it?

Afew months ago I had them and someone suggested using Magnesium tablets. It works for me just take them on a full stomach.

the mag is a good suggestion.this issue came up with my son about seven years ago.also, potassium too will, when not up to par, create some level of muscle issues like cramping.it wouldn't hurt to just see your doc and have some blood levels checked.just try taking supplimental mag for about one week and see if this actually changes.if not,try the postassium and see how that goes.or,like i said, just see your doc about thhis issue and have some levels checked.
is this 'cramping' IN the calf muscle or actually litterally behind your knee? FB

I had leg and foot cramps all my life. Sometimes both legs and both feet at the same time! It was HORRIBLE! Years of this. No dr ever cared. Everyone said Potassium. I took supplements, ate bananas...no help. I started Cal/Mg supplements (chelated) 500/250 mg X2 a day. I get NO cramps anymore. It is a MIRACLE!
