it kind of depends on just how much water you drink.your morning urine should always be pretty yellow or golden just becasue it is the most concentrated then.if you are drinking lots of water thru out the day and not taking any types of meds or suppliments,it would be much much lighter and in some cases almost clear then.there are alot of different factors involved in what your actual urine color actually looks like.is there a particular reason you are asking this question?just wondering, FB

The best way to know that you are drinking enough water is if your urine is clear, except for in the morning like FB stated. If your urine is very yellow or brown, and you are drinking alot of water, you need to see a doctor.

it all comes down to just what you are putting into your body,mostly medications and or suppliments,this will change the urine color to some extent.usually a bit darker than normal since it is filtering out the "crappy stuff"too.also,certain types of actual medications can also change the urine to some really freaky colors as well.a particular muscle relaxer i took many years ago actually gave my urine a bluish tinge,wierd. You need to give more information. When I first read your post, it sounded like you are drinking water and said nothing about eating. I drink only water, but I take vitamins which will color urine. If you take too many. and they are not absorbed, your urine will be cloudy. I have forgotten to take my supplements, drank a lot of water, and my urine looked like I didn't even go to the bathroom at all!
