My doctor was saying that it was just from allergies..but there are times that I sure do wonder. I get this stuff that is like phlegm..and a lot of it in my chest..and I either cough it out.(it is usually a dry cough though no phelgm comes up at all)..and I also just always feel like my nose is stuffed up!

I also sneeze huge sneezes or I will inhale as if to sneeze and nothing comes out, until all of a sudden, WHooosh!!! Huge sneeze!!
It is kind of a huge pain in the butt! I hate taking in these huge breaths..and nothing come out..and then without warning..I have either one or more sneezes!!
I have the usual itchy nose..(that I know is about allergies..) but, what is this phlegm in my chest?
Is this also just an allergy???!!!?

our respiratory tract is lined with mucous membranes and secrete mucus (often referred to as phlem) This is to protect foreign materials from entering and infecting the respiratory tract. If you are allergic to something (esp pollen) there will be excess mucus produced. As mucus is like water, the lungs tend not to want it in there so is moved up the respiratory tract and into the mouth thus expelled.

Sneezing is also response to get rid of the unwanted material.
