Ammonia level reactions

My sister says that she looks "high" sometimes because her ammonia levels are high. To me she looks like she is high on Heroine... can anyone help me with this issue?

Re: Ammonia level reactions

unless she actually has liver disease, she wouldn't realistically even know that her ammonia levels are high or low.my son was in liver failure and we had to go weekly for a blood draw just to check his ammonia levels.it is not a test that is normally done on anyone unless there is a very good reason to check it.it is NOT a "routine' type of blood test that would be done without some sort of liver problem going on.what is her medical status right now?does she actually have a liver disease?
