unless she actually has liver disease,she wouldn't realistically even know that her ammonia levels are high or low.my son was in liver failure and we had to go weekly for a blood draw just to check his ammonia levels.it is not a test that is normally done on anyone unless there is a very good reason to check it.it is NOT a "routine' type of blood test that would be done without some sort of liver problem going on.what is her medical status right now?does she actually have a liver disease? **
