Is it possible to twist your neck to one side?

I've been having these "tics" lately where I will try as hard as I can to twist my neck to one side, but it never works. I mean like you try to go as far as you can to one side. Is it possible to do this? I'm scared becuase I know it can kill you if you break your neck.

Re: Is it possible to twist your neck to one side?

just how far are you trying to go here?you can't turn your head all the way to one side or what?could these just be muscle spasms?does it kind of feel like your head is being 'pulled" to one side or YOU are trying to do this?any pain to speak of going on in the neck while you are NOT trying to turn it?if you don't have a surgical fusion in your neck, you can actually turn it pretty far.it is made to do that.of course there IS a limit.FB

I just want to know if you can physically break your neck by trying to use your own neck strength to push it to one side or not.
