 Pain In Throat/Neck
Hi There,
I haven't been able to get much help from my doc on this issue but its really driving me crazy.
For about 1 week now, I have had a dull, pressure-like pain in my neck about 1-2 inches to the right of my adams apple. Basically where I assume my jugular is. The pain isnt at the surface (anterior) but maybe feels like its about an inch deep. It hurts when I inhale (not exhale), bend over, or strain.
Im almost sure it isn't muscular. The pain isn't changing.. getting worse or better. but it is constant.
RN did a 20 second eval, said she didn't know, ordered a CBC and lipid panel. and thats it. cholestorol is elevated, but thats normal for me. other than that there were no findings. I asked her what to do and she told me to go to ER if it bothers me that much.
Any help or thoughts?
