Any Tittinus (Ear Ringing) Advise?

Approximately 5 months ago, I was rear ended on the high way at 70 mpr, (the other car was totalled), and I was diagnosed with whiplash. A month later, in the mid's of the physical therapy, I started having ringing in my ears. That went on for over a month none stop. Then suddenly, when I applied hot preasure water on my neck, the ringing stoped for about five days. However, it doesn' let go away. In the last few months I have good and bad days. It took almost three months before I got full mobility of my neck. I have taken a Cat Scan and MRI and the results came out negative. I have aslo taken a Hearing Audio Test. This test revieled that I have lost some hearing, but not noticeable to me. To be quite frankly, I am thankfull that I still have my hearing after what I went through. I was told that the neck injury (trauma) has triggered the ringing, or a nerve possible has damaged my inner ear. My Doctors at Kaiser still don't don't the cause of it. I've been told if I have been exposed to high level of noise. No I haven't. The only noise I won't forget it is the time I was rear ended. It sounded like a shot gun. At any at I am trying to deal with this symptom now. I am 55 years of age. I've been very healthy all my life (a few months prior to the incident) I have completed my 100th + marathon. I 've been athletic, but since this car accident my life is turning upside down. Does any one has any advise?
