microscopic hematuria
For about 2-3 years now I've been dealing with microscopic hematuria (blood in the urine) off and on. It's sometimes related to a throbbing to shooting pain in my left or right lower back. I'll go to the doctor, for whatever reason, take a urine test, and sure enough, there's blood. I've never been able to see it for myself, but under the microscope my doctor tells me there's usually a lot. Anyways, I'll go back to the doctor, say two months or so later, and it's gone. Then whenever I go back, its back. I've had just about every test you can have run to see what it is. I've had ultrasounds, CT scans, Dye X-rays, I mean you name it. Everytime its the same thing....negative. I tend to have the back pains very often. Mostly on my right side, and when the doctor pushes on my back, it hurts. I don't know if this is related to it...but I also go to the restroom a lot. Never that much at time, but it seems that I'm always going. During the night I probably go an average of 4 times, boy is this annoying. My doctor once mentioned going to an infectious disease doctor, but I'm also dealing with many other health issuses (Ulcerative Colitis, Anorexia, and Depression) and so it was never really mentioned again. However the blood in the urine started WAY before any of my other things did. I was just wondering what could be causing it. Could it maybe be that my kidneys just don't work right? Or what? Its really annoying because I don't know what it is, and my back pains are very often and very painful. However I don't even know if its related to the hematuria. Thanks in advance.
