Injured hand, please help - General Health Message Board

Hello. I had a bit of an accident on my bike 2 days ago and fell pretty hard. I must have done something to my hand, because when I apply pressure to a certain part on top it becomes numb. Sort of like I bruised a nerve? It's hard to describe but it hurts to press on the area, even slightly. When I do a numb sort of feeling rushes through the top of my hand. Any ideas what I might have damaged and if it's just temporary? I'm pretty scared that I might not have my hand back to full capacity.

It would wise to go to urgent care since this is weekend and get it checked out. Since something is pressing on the nerves to cause the numbness you should get it checked for any broken or misplaced bones etc.
