nasonex

I need to use some nasonex, but my box expired 6/2007. Is it still ok to use it? I would hate to go buy more if this is still good.

Re: nasonex

It's perfectly fine to use it. If you read it I bet it says "best if used by". The spray may have dimished some in intesity, but it will still have value. A dr. friend of mine told me that he doesn't consider prescription drugs out of date for 3-4 years after their expiration date....

oh, thank you so much. I am glad. Would nasonex help to clear the eustachin tubes??? It sounds weird that it would, because I always thought it was just for allergies/nose/etc. BTW, I love you screenname.

Re: nasonex

LOL, thanks. No, it's won't directly clear the eustacian tubes, but it will help keep the nasal passages open so that you don't get congested and backed up. Do you have problems with your ears getting plugged up? Try drinking lots of fluids to keep the mucus loose. Run a cool mist vaporiser in the bedroom to help keep the humidity level up. All these things will help. But if you have narror eutascian tubes, not much will help keep them open one way or another no matter what you do if you are prone to getting congested.....
