Chest Pain - General Health Message Board

I'm 18, and I have slight pain in my chest on the left side, which turns to sharp pain when I inhale deeply. I also have slight pain in my upper left arm and shoulder. Does anyone know what this is? It's starting to freak me out.

How often does this happen? I happened to see your post because the gen health is right above acid reflux. I have GERD (stemmed from acid reflux) which started as sharp quick shooting left sided chest pains, it is worse when I lay down and I have virtually no other symptoms.

You should definately see a doctor if you are in pain. I went through a few before I was finally diagnosed.
