Post 104 Fever for 9 days and body soreness - HELP! - the only symptoms

Hello,
I am in need fo some help. I'm a usually healthy 26 year old male but about 9 days ago I noticed I had a high fever. There is NO flulike symptems, no nausia, no sickness. I don't have insurance, so I went to the free health clinic. They took a chest xray, drew blood, and took urine samples two different times. I've been there three times and they have been unable to find anything wrong with me. They gave me motrin and tylonal and told me it's prob a virus. The last time they saw me, they were shocked that it had not gone away and sent me to the emergency room - which I left because I can not afford it.
The only symptoms I have had the past 9 days are a high fever and an over

If it's really a virus, I think you need antibiotics which can only be prescribed. Does the free health clinic offer discounts on those? I know how much it sucks not to have health insurance.

Hey, I hate to tell you that if he does have a virus, he most certainly does not need antibiotics. You may or may not know that antiobiotics are totally ineffective against viruses and there is no point in taking them for a viral infection of any type.

Antibiotics are designed to kill bacteria and they are only effective against this.

If it is a viral infection, then all you can do is rest and drink plenty of fluids to replace what you loose during the fever. Also, if you feel like eating then eat small and nutritious meals that are easily digested.

Unfortunately, with viruses, you just have to sit them out and you will get better eventually.

If it is a virus, then I should just drink water and wait for it to go away? I thought that having a fever that high for that amount of extended time is very dangerous and can do serious internal harm.

If it is a virus, do a little research about raw garlic. Orthodox medicine (in general) has conditioned us in thinking there are no antibiotics for viruses. Raw garlic can make an exception to this (in some cases). One or two raw cloves mixed with food is all one needs, each day. To reduce the odor, the next day try consuming fresh or dried fruit.
