Bump inside nostril on the bridge - General Health Message Board

Hey, was just wondering if anyone knew what a bump inside the right nostril on the bridge could be? Its kinda white and bumpy. It got bigger but think it has stopped. However I seem to wake up with alot more green mucus in that nostril covering the bump and whole inside of that nostril almost. Which Iam starting to think is a bit odd. Not sure I had that before but maybe didn't notice. Anyone else had anything like this or have an idea what it is?

since the mucus is actually greenish in color,in most cases,that alone would indicate it or you have some type of infection going on(are you running any type of even low grade fevers?).if this green mucus stuff(does it look more like pus or just mucus?)is just in the one nostril and you do have some type of lump there,it could just be a very large infected pimple or boil of some sort(these both can occur inside the actual nostrils).i would most definetly get this looked at by your doc to find out just where this is coming from.both the mucus and what that lump is all about too.you may need some sort of anti Bs to actually clear it.just see your doc with this.hopefully this is just a minor issue that can be easily resolved.please let me know what you find out,K? Could be a skin polyp - and if this is the case- it definately needs to get checked out in case theres more. Its probably just an infected oil gland and the mucous (green) is probably from something different like a cold, sinus infection etc. Regardless, skin polyps need to get checked out - they could be indicative of something serious. I would go see a doctor just to give yourself peace of mind and some serious answers

Thanx for the replies. I'll prob make an appointment tomorrow to see the doctor. The green stuff is deffintly mucus and not pus. I notice I seem to have a blood shot eye alot to, on the right hand side. I'm guessing it won't be related but I will mention this to. I don't think I have a fever I do sometimes get quite hot but mainly hot flushes. I think the bump has stopped growing but doesnt seem to be going and the mucus is the same to.
