Re: a week after a car accident, i still have pain in my chest - should I go to a doc

Welcome, Joannawandelt . . . we need a little information first. After your car accident were you x-rayed? If so, what did they say? Are you experiencing bruising on your chest? Are your symptoms worse when you breathe deeply? Tender only to touch or hurt all of the time? Is it in your lung area or ribs? Is it above, below or to the side of your chest? Has the pain diminished at all, stayed the same or gotten worse?

We look forward to helping you decide but need to know more about your injury. So sorry you were in an accident.
