since most pain clinics DO require a referral from a doc,going to a primary and asking them who to go to would probably be the best way to find one in your area and with your insurance too. even if your health ins doesn;t always require referrals,getting into a PM is very different in nature just because of what is dealt with and used for PM with alot of them,so they do not simply take in everyone who just wants to be there,you know what i mean? so you do, in most cases have to be referred by some level of real doc in order to be seen at one. you could possibly obtain that referral from that last PM you were seeing since it sounds like you had already been seeing one before you moved where you are now? just one suggestion that could save you some hassle. hope you can find a good one. please keep me posted.
