Enlarged Spleen? (Splenomegaly) - General Health Message Board

Hi, new here and after some ideas of cause.

Anyone know what the most common causes of an enlarged spleen are? Have a few other symptoms as well which may or may not be related! have had back to back colds for the last 6 months, fatigue and joint pain (which I put down to being a bit run down) as well as heavy totm bleeding and 14 day cycles. Like I said these might not be related and purely coincidental.

Enlarged spleen was picked up during a scan for something else completely!

Hi. I also was told that my spleen is enlarged.An MRI was done and the results are positive for splendomegaly. Some blood tests were done and my WBC is elevated. I was told that I have Mono. I'm not sure about this though because, although I have been very tired,weak,dizzy and have had a fever, I DO NOT have a sore throat. I was told to rest and drink plenty of fluids. It's been three months now and I still have all the symptoms. I pretty much feel like S---! Could It be something else?
