tightening of middle of chests

OK, its called "sternum". lol.

recently, i'd feel quite uncomfortable, or even pain, when i move my chests and arms together (uh, kinda like wat a girl would do to make her boobs look bigger, no, im a guy. lol).

then, i'd need to stretch myself by stretching my arms and chests and get a "crack" sound from the middle of the chests before feeling OK again. best results are obtained if i use my hands to help stretch. it kinda feels good when it "cracks" but i'd rather not feel uncomfortable in the first place. its just like cracking knuckles, except it's not. lol.

why is this so? is there any way to reduce/eliminate this? it gets really uncomfortable sometimes and i cant really "relieve myself" in public, coz its quite unsightly. i think.
